Broadway Sings for the Centennial Ball!

The University of New Haven’s Virtual Centennial Ball is just a week away and the excitement is palpable! Our event will be hosted by Audra McDonald – a Grammy, Emmy, and six-time Tony Award winner – who will introduce us to the stars of Broadway Sings! This talented group will perform some fan-favorite numbers from Hamilton, Wicked, Chicago, The Lion King, Phantom of the Opera, and more.

Another highlight of the evening will be students showcasing their most innovative and inspiring projects, with an opportunity to chat with these students virtually. Our event will also feature a campus tour by drone, and virtual networking with your former professors and coaches, and alumni worldwide. We hope you will join us for our 100th birthday celebration. You won’t want to miss it!

#ChargeOn: Athletics Kick-off Event

As part of the Virtual Centennial Ball and included in your registration, Charger Athletics will be hosting an event for former student-athletes and Charger fans on Friday, October 2. This virtual event will be a celebration of Charger spirit, and Athletics Director Sheahon Zenger will update us on our transition to Division 1. Centennial Giving Challenge

Our Centennial Giving Challenge will run through the weekend of the Ball on October 3. Help us make our goal of raising gifts from 2,020 alumni, faculty, staff, parents, and friends! Your Virtual Centennial Ball registration is a gift to the Centennial Challenge, and you can add a donation on to your registration to help support our students!

While we may not be able to come together on campus this year, we are so excited to celebrate our Centennial Homecoming virtually with our Charger family! University Opens Pioneering Bergami Center for Science, Technology, and Innovation

During the virtual unveiling of the Bergami Center for Science, Technology, and Innovation, the University celebrated the creation of the cutting-edge facility in the heart of campus and the myriad learning experiences it will bring to students of all disciplines. The building was named in honor of longtime University benefactors Samuel S. Bergami Jr. '85 EMBA, ’02 Hon. and Lois Bergami.

University Continues to Rise in U.S. News & World Report's College Rankings

In U.S. News & World Report's 2021 "Best Colleges" rankings, the University is ranked #59 in the North region, up seven spots from last year and up nearly 40 spots from two years ago. The University was also recognized for its computer science and engineering programs, as well as its commitment to veterans.

University’s Connecticut Institute of Technology Presents Cyber Legends

Join us in honor of Cybersecurity Month on Monday, October 19, at 4:00 P.M. as our National Security Agency-designated Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Operations kicks off the Cyber Legend Series. This inaugural webcast will feature Roland Cloutier, Global Chief Security Officer for TikTok & Bytedance.
