Dr. Lawrence J. DeNardis, who led the University of New Haven from 1991-2004, died peacefully on Friday, August 24, at Yale New Haven Hospital surrounded by his family. The University community remembers DeNardis, former U.S. congressman, as a dedicated ambassador for the campus and Connecticut.

Six Sigma Green Belt Certification
The University of New Haven has partnered with the Institute of Industrial & Systems Engineering (IISE) to offer the Six Sigma Green Belt Certification during a three-day course from October 26-28. The Green Belt training course will provide an in-depth understanding of Six Sigma and show how to eliminate defects through fundamental process knowledge.
