Interim President Dr. Sheahon Zenger invites you and a guest to Homecoming weekend at the University of New Haven this fall. It's a great time to catch up with old friends and relive great memories. You and a guest are cordially invited as Dr. Zenger's guests to the first-ever Charger Leadership Dinner on Friday evening as well as the Alumni Tailgate Party and football game on Saturday.

Charger Leadership Dinner

Join Interim President Dr. Sheahon Zenger in celebrating the University of New Haven's dedicated volunteers and generous philanthropists at the Charger Leadership Dinner! Kick off Homecoming weekend by enjoying delicious cocktails and dinner while networking with fellow alumni volunteers and philanthropists. Take in the picturesque fall foliage at one of Connecticut's premier country clubs. Dress is business casual and jackets are not required. Alumni Tailgate Party

Join fellow alumni in the exclusive tailgate area on North Campus with great food, drink, and games for all! As a guest of Interim President Dr. Sheahon Zenger, you receive two (2) complimentary tickets to the alumni tailgate party featuring a tailgate-style buffet, beer, wine, and other refreshments. As well as a Chargers giveaway, two (2) complimentary reserved tickets to the game, and access for two (2) to the in-game hospitality tent. Hotel Information
The University of New Haven has reserved a block of rooms for alumni and friends who have registered for Homecoming 2023 at Hampton Inn and Suites New Haven - South - West Haven at 510 Saw Mill Road, West Haven, CT 06516. The UNewHaven Homecoming rate is $122/night and can be used to check-in on Oct. 13 and check-out on Oct. 15. Book no later than Sept. 12 to secure this reduced rate. Click Here to Book Now!

Gameday Parking Information
There are a variety of parking options available at Homecoming. The large North Campus parking lot by the Charger Athletics Center offers general and handicap parking for $10 on a first-come, first-serve basis. Overflow parking is available in other university lots throughout campus free of charge - including those on the north side of Boston Post Road. Parking lots open at 7:00 AM. Parking is NOT allowed on the neighborhood streets surrounding North Campus. All spectators must enter the stadium or leave the parking areas at the time of kickoff. All parking lots close one hour after the conclusion of the game.

Gameday Shuttle Information
University shuttles will provide spectators transportation from overflow parking lots to North Campus throughout the day on Saturday. Shuttles will loop between the parking lots on the north side of Boston Post Road, Maxcy Hall/Main Campus as well as the Railroad Salvage parking lot located at 1131 Campbell Avenue.
