WNHU 50th Anniversary Celebration
Friday, June 2 - Sunday, June 4
The University of New Haven is excited to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of WNHU! The yearlong celebration will kick off with an alumni reunion June 2-4, 2023. Come back to campus to reminisce, reconnect and relive the rich 50-year history of Connecticut's #1 college radio station.
A planning committee has been working to develop an engaging and exciting schedule for the weekend. Registration is required and will close on Monday, May 29. Events are complimentary, except for Friday evening activities off campus and the banquet on Saturday night. If you plan to attend Saturday's banquet, make sure to register for both events as part of your registration on this page.

FRIDAY, JUNE 2
Informal Group Gatherings Off Campus
Connect with members of your graduating class or friends from your time as a student and plan to meet up at a local restaurant or bar in town.
SATURDAY, JUNE 3
1:00 - 2:00 PM | Event Registration, Check-In & Memorabilia Drop Off
Location: South Campus Hall - tent located adjacent to WNHU

Get your details for the weekend, drop off WNHU memorabilia for display at the station, sign-up for on-air time and get any questions you have answered by the alumni office and planning committee.
1:00 - 4:00 PM | WNHU On-Air Time Available
Location: Bergami Broadcast Media Center
Want to relive your glory days? Spend some time live on-air for anything from a full "show" to a few minutes!
2:00 - 3:30 PM | Campus Tours
Location: Departing from South Campus Hall
Tours will depart at 2:00 PM and 2:45 PM.
5:00 - 8:00 PM | Banquet & Dinner Reception*
NEW LOCATION: Bergami Center for Science, Technology and Innovation (second floor)
Cost: $60 per person
Maybe some speeches, maybe some awards, but definitely a good time to reconnect with your fellow Chargers!

2:00 PM - 3:30 PM | The Next 50 Years Discussion
Location: South Campus Hall - tent located adjacent to WNHU
Hear from WNHU general manager and Connecticut radio legend Bruce Barber about the future of radio and college radio on the UNH campus.
4:00 PM - 5:00 PM | 50th Anniversary Live On-Air
Location: Bergami Broadcast Media Center
Join everyone in celebrating 50 years of WNHU! Join on-air at the station or virtually to officially commemorate 50 years since June 4, 1973 at 4:00 PM when WNHU began broadcasting.
* Saturday dinner is $60 per person. If you're planning to attend, make sure you register for this event as well as the weekend celebration as part of your checkout.
