Save the Date for Charger Pride Week: April 25 – May 2
This April, we invite you to share your University of New Haven spirit as part of Charger Pride Week! The virtual celebration kicks off with the Chargers 5k on Sunday and continues with our ever-popular Founders Day festivities on Monday. (Details to come, so stay tuned!)
Alumni, parents, students, faculty, staff, and friends can also show their Charger Pride by participating in Giving Week. Charlie the Charger challenges all those in his community to help raise money for the areas at the University that mean the most to you. Whether it’s an academic program, athletic team, or scholarship, YOU can help make an impact in the lives of our current and future students.
We are excited for all of #ChargerNation to come together to celebrate the university we love. Please save the date, and join the event on Facebook for updates!

L.E.A.D. SOCIETY DONOR SPOTLIGHT
|
|
Mitch Goldblatt '86
“I know that higher education is dependent on many things, including alumni support,” says Mitch Goldblatt ’86 “My degree is also impacted by the University’s reputation, so I think it is important to sustain and constantly improve our University by showing support. I know that what I learned at UNH has helped me in my personal, professional, and political careers, and I am proud to give back every year.”
Mitch is a proud member of the University’s LEAD (Loyal Engaged Annual Donors) Society and has been giving for 34 consecutive years. He says his time at the University helped prepare him for both a life in politics and as a professor, and giving back each year is his way of saying thank you.
The size of your gift is not as important as your loyalty and participation year after year. To learn more about the LEAD Society, visit us here.
