Edge Pathways and University Announce New Engineering Program

Edge Pathways, the education technology company closing the STEM gap, in collaboration with the University, announced the new Edge Scholars Program designed to prepare ambitious first-year students from diverse backgrounds to pursue rigorous engineering degrees and rewarding STEM careers.

Black and Latino Alumni Weekend

The annual Black and Latino Alumni Weekend will be held virtually April 15-18. This event serves as a networking opportunity for alumni to reconnect with classmates, students, professors, faculty and staff, while participating in the various programs hosted by the University’s Cultural Clubs and Organizations.

Black Alumni Network Launch: April 17

Join us on Saturday, April 17, for the official launch of the University's Black Alumni Network. This event will begin at 10 a.m. with a Virtual Coffee and Conversation with Myatt Center for Diversity and Inclusion leadership and continue with the official Virtual Launch at 11 a.m. Learn about the development of the BAN, its founding members, and how you can get involved!

Henry C. Lee Seminar: Famous
Cases Revisited

The Henry C. Lee Institute of Forensic Science presents the virtual Advanced Homicide Spring Seminar on Friday, April 23, at 1 p.m. Renowned forensic scientist Dr. Henry C. Lee is among the featured speakers who will give a fascinating insider’s look into the Phil Spector trial.

30th Annual Charger Classic: June 8

Join us for the 30th Annual Charger Classic on Tuesday, June 8, at Race Brook Country Club. Proceeds will enhance the experience of student-athletes through the development of the Peterson Performance Center and an initiative to renovate the locker rooms at Charger Gym. Your support for the Charger Classic will be transformative for New Haven Athletics!

Former Chargers Basketball Standout Takes Talents Around the World

For Eric Anderson ’15, his career as a professional basketball player has been a slam dunk, bringing him to half a dozen countries, including, most recently, to Portugal. He is grateful for his time as a Charger when he honed his skills on the basketball court, got out of his comfort zone, and met his fiancée.
