The University of New Haven is #ChargingAhead

Our University community would like to thank everyone on the frontlines of the COVID-19 crisis, including all of the first responders and healthcare workers in our alumni community who are keeping us safe. It is in challenging times like these that we find strength and hope together, and exhibit the qualities that make us proud to be Chargers.

We are so inspired by the many members of Charger Nation who are making a difference that we have created #ChargersCare, a compilation of stories that demonstrates how alumni, students, faculty, staff and friends are giving back, creating hope, and impacting their communities and the lives of others. Follow along or contribute your story on social media using the hashtags #ChargersHelpingChargers and #ChargersCare. You can also share your story and we may include it on social media or on our website. Thank you for doing your part!

View the University's Annual Holocaust Remembrance

As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the University is unable to hold its 17th Annual Holocaust Remembrance on campus this spring. Given the importance of this community event, the planning committee is presenting an abbreviated video version of last year’s ceremony, which featured a truly inspiring address by Holocaust survivor Judith Altmann. In light of the unprecedented situation we are facing due to COVID-19, the University’s spring Commencement ceremonies have been postponed until a to-be-determined future date. As alumni, you know how important Commencement is, as it represents the successful culmination of your time as a student and symbolizes the move into the next chapter in your life.
